GrayStone Olympic Lifting program is designed for athletes to complete on their own time. Each weekend a class focused on Olympic lifts will provide a chance for hands-on instruction to assist in improving athletes technique and skill. Oly Lifts consist of two lifts; the Clean and Jerk, and Snatch. These lifts are dynamic in nature and require more explosive force to complete. Skills required to succeed in these types of lifts include explosive strength, mobility, range of motion, and kinesthetic awareness (how our body moves during an action).
